Fabrication of the tower crane support assemblies for the Cypress Project on the Gold Coast is now complete.
Sub-arc welding was undertaken with careful planning around handling and positioning. The works also involved large butt welds at the endplate connections, and tight dimensional tolerances required a trial assembly in our workshop to confirm the crane stub would fit correctly.
A strong outcome delivered by the team, overcoming the challenges associated with scale, accuracy, and handling.
